KDSAP at Virginia Tech
VT's chapter of KDSAP was founded in late 2023. KDSAP at VT is comprised of student volunteers from VT, alongside physicians from Lewis Gale Memorial Hospital. Based in Blacksburg, KDSAP at VT works with physicians and community leaders to serve the community
Kidney Disease Screening Awareness Program
The national Kidney Disease and Screening Awareness Program (KDSAP) was founded by Dr. Li-Li Hsiao (Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School) in 2008. KDSAP is a college student-run organization with three primary objectives:

Furthering students' personal and career development

Increasing interest in nephrology careers

KDSAP was first started at Harvard, and new chapters have since been founded at various universities, including VT!
